Globally, with the current model for dentistry, dentists see only a small number of privileged patients who can afford dental care. However dentistry possesses a body of knowledge that has the power to significantly and positively impact health on a much larger scale. What will make the biggest difference in oral health and health in general will be our ability to challenge the status quo.
